Meta Ads Lead Gen — Artificial Grass Recyclers Blowout Sale

I built and ran this Meta Ads lead-gen campaign to move inventory during a liquidation event. Instant Forms, aggressive geo-targeting, and creative tuned for a hard price hook drove 2,617 leads at $6.52 CPL on a $200/day budget.

Objective

  • Generate qualified leads for a limited-time inventory blowout.
  • Keep CPL under $10 to preserve margin on discounted turf.
  • Feed the sales team a steady daily volume of contactable leads.

What I did

  • I structured the campaign, managed budget pacing, and segmented audiences in Ads Manager.
  • I directed creative and wrote copy for the blowout ad set.
  • I built the Instant Form and synced it to the CRM so leads landed in the sales pipeline in real time.
  • I optimized continuously — testing bids, creative, and audiences week over week.

Ad creative

Meta ad creative: Artificial Grass Recyclers blowout sale, turf as low as $0.34/sqft

Why this worked

01
Hard price hook in the creative
Leading with '$0.34/sqft' and 'EVERYTHING MUST GO' filtered clicks to genuine buyers. Cheap curiosity clicks still convert on Instant Forms — the price up front kept CPL down.
02
Instant Form over landing page
Instant Forms removed the landing-page drop-off. Pre-filled fields kept friction low and lifted completion rate meaningfully vs. an off-platform form.
03
Geo-focused audience, broad interests
Tight radius targeting around the yard, layered with home-improvement and landscaping interests. Meta's optimization did the rest at $200/day.
04
CRM sync for real-time follow-up
Every lead flowed straight into the sales CRM so reps could call within minutes. Speed-to-lead is the single biggest lever on Meta lead-gen quality.
Outcome

2,617 leads at $6.52 CPL across 1.2M impressions and 391K unique people reached — under budget on CPL and volume high enough to clear the sale inventory on schedule.
